Making investments in companies is one of the most complex and difficult things to do.

In that regard, our group of professionals is ideally suited to evaluate and decide on which projects merit strategic investments by us.

We have established a Strategic Investments Group – Concentric Capital – managed by Mr. Larry Whitehead, with assistance from Mr. Richard Evans and Mr. Vid Wadhwani. Concentric Capital has a group of high net worth individuals that can collectively invest – via private placements and debentures - between C$200,000 to C$1,000,000 in projects that:

  1. Undertaking a public offering within 12 months; or
  2. are stable private entities with real growth; and
  3. are Best-of-Breed; and
  4. have a logical business plan; and
  5. have a strong management team; and
  6. are willing to work as a team with us; and
  7. have an ability to demonstrate a likely ROI over 3-5 years.

As an early- to senior-stage investment group, we understand the need for co-operation with broader financial industry to assure adequate availability of funds for our investee companies. Often, prior to making our investment, we will have arranged for the subsequent funding rounds. Our on-going partnerships include individual angel investors, venture capital partners, as well as Canadian and U.S brokerage groups. Our underlying investment objective is to generate significant and continuous returns for ourselves and our partners, by creating, managing and disposing of equity investments in companies globally.

We have developed and refined a sound investment program built on our background in technology, alternative energy, health sciences and natural resources, a hands-on approach, and a strong dedication to our mission.

We are open to private investment as well as public investments. On the public company front, we are active investors in Capital Pool Corporations in Canada and in some limited and selected U.S. public companies.
